Why I Do This Work
I come from an immigrant family myself. I know firsthand what it means to build a life in a new country — facing an unfamiliar language and unfamiliar systems, and learning everything from the ground up.
Along the way, I kept seeing the same scene in the Korean community: seniors holding Medicare and Social Security letters written in English, with no one to explain what they meant. 'What does this mean?' was a question I heard again and again.
I also saw how many people who had worked hard all their lives and devoted everything to their families kept putting off retirement planning, insurance protection, and Medicare — not because they didn't care, but because no one had explained it and there was no one to ask. One conviction kept growing in me: someone needs to explain these things properly, in our own language.
So in 2019, I earned my California life and health insurance license (#0M85647) and began this work. Since then, I have served families across Los Angeles County and Orange County — Medicare planning for seniors, and financial protection and retirement planning for immigrant-generation families.
My philosophy is simple: teaching comes before selling. I will never rush you. It is never too late to decide after you fully understand. I will look into everything, down to the last detail, as if it were my own family's decision. Nothing makes me prouder than seeing a family gain a little more peace of mind and a more secure retirement.
Why Families Trust Me
Licensed California Agent Since 2019
I have held my California life and health insurance license (#0M85647) since 2019. You can verify my license anytime with the California Department of Insurance.
Serving LA County and Orange County
I work with Korean-American seniors and families across Los Angeles County and Orange County. My office is at ROW DTLA (777 S. Alameda St., 2nd Floor) in Downtown Los Angeles, and office visits are welcome.
Fully Bilingual — Korean and English
Consultations, paperwork, and phone calls in whichever language is comfortable. Parents can speak Korean while adult children join the conversation in English — everyone stays on the same page.
Multiple Carrier Partners
I work with multiple carrier partners, not just one company. That means I can walk you through a range of options and help you compare what fits your doctors, medications, and budget.
Five Areas of Focus
Medicare planning, retirement income planning, life insurance (including reviews of policies you already have), annuities, and 401(k) rollovers — the five areas families ask about most, all in one place.
How I Work With You
I Listen First
Your story comes first. I ask about your situation and your concerns step by step — your doctors, your medications, your family, and your day-to-day finances — before any talk of plans.
I Explain in Plain Language
I break down unfamiliar terms at your pace, in everyday Korean or English, until they truly make sense. I will never ask you to decide on something you don't understand.
I Stay By Your Side After Enrollment
Enrollment is the beginning, not the end. I review your situation with you every year, and I keep walking alongside your family's retirement preparation with a real sense of responsibility.
Don't Face Retirement Planning Alone.
